Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Professional. The Inside Sales Professional represents the Sales’ interests of the company and is responsible for positively promoting the organization at the local and district level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Pro-actively calls prospective clients to qualify prospective new business leads and secure relevant information of the prospective customer (which will later assist the field sales professional to craft an optimized solution that addresses the prospective customer’s unique needs) · Develops communication within a framework of established sales objectives and set appointments for Territory Sales Professionals. · Proactively develops business opportunities with new prospects. · Develop a specified territory by identifying and targeting prospects through telephone prospecting. · Work in conjunction with the District Sales Manager or Sales Manager to develop specific and measureable sales targets on an annual basis. · Reports daily activities and sales results promptly and accurately. · Ensures that maximum sales revenues and new business activity levels are obtained through effective and ethical tele-prospecting activities. · Possess a true commitment to drive sales and providing excellent business development support for field sales professionals · Be a hardworking team player with the ability to excel in a fast paced environment. · Researches various published sources to create list of prospects · Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS · 2-5 years of previous sales/tele-sales experience in a business to business environment · Post Secondary Education complete (Business degree preferred) · Adaptable and resourceful · Energetic, highly self-motivated · Self disciplined and organized · Excellent skills in data analysis and the use of personal computers (Excel / Microsoft Office Suite). · Willing to work in a team environment and take part in training and meeting sessions for the benefit of yourself and the district. · Proficient with computer systems and utilize the company’s computer system to maintain a current database of clients, and prospects. · Must be willing to complete/pass a criminal background investigation, and credit check prior to hire.
